Created in 2003, the International Cooperation Center of the Perseu Abramo Foundation aims to stimulate and foster political debate on major world issues, on the foreign policy of the Workers’ Party governments, as well as on the international policy of left-wing and progressive parties, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Its work focuses on establishing, expanding, and deepening exchange and cooperation relationships with similar institutions, especially in the exchange of ideas and experiences.

To achieve this goal, the International Cooperation Center (NCI) carries out multiple activities – including conferences, seminars, courses, debates, publication of texts, exchange trips, etc. – whenever possible in cooperation with foundations, academic institutions, and national and international study and research organizations.
