In its two and a half decades of existence, it has investigated topics such as Brazilian youth, racism in Brazil, indigenous issues, women and gender violence, the elderly, sexual diversity and homophobia, and the political culture of Brazilians, making considerable contributions to the national public debate at each stage. Over the last three years, we have organized our work to produce diagnoses to understand the paths taken by public opinion \u2013 what trends the electorate has been following, what values \u200b\u200bit has been adhering to and reproducing. To this end, we have structured our studies along three main lines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first is monitoring opinion polls published by the main institutes (DataFolha, IPESPE, Quaest, IPEC, among others\u2026). Through this approach, we also seek to produce a methodological debate, in which we discuss the impact of the choice of methods on the final results of each survey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The second initiative is the research project &#8220;Women and Gender in Public and Private Spaces,&#8221; 3rd Edition, in partnership with SESC\/SP. The first edition of this research was launched in 2001, the second in 2010, and this year marks the third decade of this study. The research results (in both its qualitative and quantitative phases) will be published later in 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The third area of \u200b\u200bwork is qualitative and quantitative research on Political Culture. In 2023, we joined forces with the party foundations Lauro Campos and Marielle Franco (PSOL), Mauricio Grabois (PCdoB), and Rosa Luxemburg (Die Linke &#8211; The Left) to deepen our understanding of the changes in Brazilian society. At the Center for Analysis of Brazilian Society (CASB), we produced diagnoses to assist parties and the government in the task of democratizing society and institutions, and in organizing the popular democratic field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We at NOPPE believe that well-conducted research can enhance our understanding of reality and contribute to its transformation.
