The Center for Analysis of Brazilian Society (CASB) aims to deepen the understanding of changes in Brazilian society and to produce analyses\u2014supporting political parties and the government in the task of democratizing society and its institutions, as well as in organizing the popular democratic field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, it has structured its work to broaden its listening efforts toward specialists and researchers (from academia, social movements, and party foundations), as well as to produce its own research through the Public Opinion, Research, and Studies Center of the FPA (NOPPE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CASB\u2019s activities and publications express the joint project of the partner Foundations. They encompass diverse opinions from members and guests, which do not necessarily represent the institutional position of the Foundations participating in CASB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organizing Committee is composed of the three Brazilian party foundations (PT, PSOL, PCdoB) and the German foundation Die Linke. Its functions are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Nominate the members of the CASB Council;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Propose and organize the activities and meetings of the Working Groups (WGs);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Develop the research projects to be carried out in the field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Manage the overall administration of CASB.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
