The online course aims to address the current challenges for the country\u2019s productive, social, and environmental development, in order to discuss horizontal, mission-oriented policies and to understand sectoral policies coordinated by the government of President Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To do this, the lessons will review the country\u2019s history over the past 30 years, a period marked by profound changes in the labor market, the process of deindustrialization, and the nearly negligible economic growth rates, especially following the impeachment of Dilma in 2016. Since that year, the country has experienced an accelerated dismantling of public policies that were previously considered showcases of Brazil internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course aims to develop the critical skills necessary to understand the State\u2019s instruments for productive development, assess the importance of implemented policies, and provide a systemic view of the integration of various actors, in the challenge of analyzing Brazil\u2019s reconstruction and transformation. In addition, it seeks to contribute to training and critical reflection on the vision of the country that participants aim to build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course is divided into three thematic modules, with lessons delivered by specialists in areas such as Economics, Urban Development, Social Sciences, among others. The launch will feature economist Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo. He and the other speakers will alternate in delivering lessons of approximately 40 minutes, recorded and made available weekly every Wednesday on the EAD platform.
