A delegação da Fundação Perseu Abramo realizou, entre os dias 15 e 21 de janeiro de 2026, uma visita oficial à República Popular da China, a convite do Museu do Partido Comunista da China. A comitiva foi composta por integrantes do Centro de Documentação e Memória Política Sérgio Buarque de Holanda (CSBH): Elen Coutinho, diretora da Fundação Perseu Abramo; Vanessa X. Nadotti, coordenadora do CSBH; e Sarkis A. Alves, arquivista responsável pelo Centro. Os brasileiros foram recebidos por Wang Jialei, Diretor do Departamento para a América Latina do IDCPC; Li Zongyuan, diretor do Museu do Partido Comunista da China; Luo Cunkang, diretor do Museu da Guerra de Resistência do Povo Chinês contra a Agressão Japonesa; Chen Chengjun, vice-curador executivo do Museu Nacional da China; Wang Kun, vice-curador do Museu do Partido Comunista da China; Sun Jing, diretora do Departamento de Relações Internacionais do Museu Nacional da China; Wang Zhao, diretor do Departamento de Comunicação Internacional do Museu do Partido Comunista da China e pelos professores Yu Wenli, vice-diretor da Faculdade de Marxismo de Pequim e Cheng Meidong, ambos da mesma universidade. A agenda foi preenchida com visitação a museus, como o Museu do Partido Comunista da China, o Museu Nacional da China, o Museu da Guerra de Resistência do Povo Chinês contra a Agressão Japonesa, e palestras com pesquisadores chineses na Escola de Marxismo, da Universidade de Bejing. O objetivo da viagem foi absorver o trabalho realizado pelos chineses sobre memória partidária, política e nacional, além de conhecer as técnicas museológicas aplicadas em diversos setores de um museu, trocar experiências de trabalho e promover cooperação técnica entre as duas instituições (FPA e o Museu do PCCh).
The Perseu Abramo Foundation delegation paid an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from 15 to 21 January 2026, at the invitation of the Museum of the Communist Party of China. The delegation was composed of members of the Sergio Buarque de Holanda Center for Documentation and Political Memory (CSBH): Elen Coutinho, Director of the Perseu Abramo Foundation; Vanessa X. Nadotti, Coordinator of the CSBH; and Sarkis A. Alves, Archivist of the Center. The Brazilian delegation was received by Wang Jialei, Director of the Latin America Department of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC); Li Zongyuan, Director of the Museum of the Communist Party of China; Luo Cunkang, Director of the Museum of the War of the Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression; Chen Chengjun, Executive Deputy Curator of the National Museum of China; Wang Kun, Deputy Curator of the Museum of the Communist Party of China; Sun Jing, Director of the Department of International Relations of the National Museum of China; Wang Zhao, Director of the Department of International Communication of the Museum of the Communist Party of China; and Professors Yu Wenli, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism, and Cheng Meidong, both of Peking University. The program included visits to the Museum of the Communist Party of China, the National Museum of China, and the Museum of the War of the Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, as well as lectures delivered by Chinese scholars at the School of Marxism, Peking University. The purpose of the visit was to learn about China’s work in preserving party, political, and national memory; to become acquainted with museological practices applied in different areas of museum management; to exchange professional experience; and to promote technical cooperation between the Perseu Abramo Foundation and the Museum of the Communist Party of China.
